The Business Man
Was given a single word prompt and told to make a 30 panel storyboard related the work; my word was inept. I decided to do a story about a 1930's business man who applies for government assistance and is denied because he is not poor enough for welfare. I was given 2 weeks to finish the storyboard from thumbnails to shaded drawing.
The Devil Made Me Do it
Was given the prompt of ' to complete opposites coming together to fight a common enemy' for an animated prompt. We had to design the characters and everything about this world in only 3 weeks. I decided to do a devil and young child conspiring together to kill the child's strict mother. Although the plot was dark the tone I went for was a dark comedy vibe, close to the show' Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell'. We had 3 weeks to do 100 panel storyboard, I went over that and did 183 panels.
